About Shreyas S.
I lead business development for Adani Group\'s North American operations—connecting U.S. Fortune 500 companies with India\'s infrastructure market, particularly in data centers, renewable energy, AI, Digital Solutions, and cross-border energy trade —while helping organizations enter new markets and scale globally. In my 8+ years working for a $140B+ Infrastructure conglomerate, I have built partnerships in industries where the stakes are high, and the playbook is still being written. I work at the intersection of energy, infrastructure, technology, and logistics—sectors that demand both strategic vision and operational rigor to actually get things done. Most of my work focuses on the U.S-India corridor. I spend a lot of time figuring out how American technology companies can enter the Indian market—particularly around data center deployment and infrastructure—and how energy and industrial firms can navigate the complexity of scaling operations across borders. What I\'m good at:I identify high-potential opportunities, pressure-test them with cross-functional teams, and drive them from concept to launch. I also tend to be the person who gets brought in when things are stuck. I work best in the room with decision-makers—helping shape strategy, challenging assumptions, and owning execution. I\'ve managed teams across geographies, built new functions from scratch, and aligned governments, investors, partners, and internal stakeholders to make trade-offs under uncertainty. What I care about:I\'m drawn to work that leaves things better than I found them—whether that\'s building more sustainable energy systems, creating economic opportunity in underserved markets, or developing people who go on to do great things. Right now, I\'m particularly energized by companies at inflection points: tech-enabled businesses, energy infrastructure, data centers, and fast-growing organizations scaling rapidly or navigating major transformation. What you\'ll find here:I write about the non-obvious intersections of energy infrastructure, AI, and cross-border strategy. If you\'re interested in how AI is reshaping power grids, what\'s actually happening in the U.S-India energy corridor, or the economics of data center development, you\'ll find my posts useful.Open to advisory board roles with companies working on energy infrastructure, data center deployment, or AI implementation. I bring two decades of navigating complex, high-stakes environments—guiding organizations through strategic expansion, partnership development, and operational scaling.

I lead business development and strategic partnerships for Adani Group\'s North American operations. Most of my work centers on building cross-border opportunities between U.S. and Indian markets—particularly in areas where energy, infrastructure, and technology intersect.Technology Partnerships – I work with U.S. technology companies looking to enter India, primarily around data centers and infrastructure equipment. This involves everything from structuring partnerships to navigating regulatory requirements and helping companies figure out market entry strategies.Energy & Infrastructure – Leading our renewable energy strategy across solar, wind, and nuclear. Increasingly, this means understanding how AI and data centers are changing power demand and grid architecture. Also managing partnerships for behind-the-meter applications and grid-scale projects.Cross-Border Trade – Structuring supply agreements to move oil & gas products (NAPTHA, Ethane) from the U.S. to India. Working with U.S. petrochemical partners interested in the Indian market.Ports & Logistics – Evaluating port investment opportunities in the U.S. and abroad as part of our logistics expansion.Enterprise Software – We built an internal platform for managing solar assets. Now we\'re commercializing it as a SaaS product for other solar operators.
