Sheila is driven by a vision that together we make our world better.Sheila has spent over 25 years building relationships between Indigenous Peoples and a major Canadian electricity producer. Sheila participated in Canada’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission both as a witness and volunteer. Using her background in strategic planning, policy development, negotiations and regulatory, Sheila has successfully influenced regulators and business leaders to incorporate Indigenous Peoples’ requirements into business and operational practices. With over 10 years as a senior manager, Sheila is an experienced team leader. As co-chair of a provincial anti-racism committee, Sheila designed initiatives that promoted relationships between Canada’s diverse cultures. Recently retired, Sheila is interested in working with others to design and implement initiatives that build resilience within us that enables us to greet differences with curiosity.
