The UK water industry is continually evolving, driven by technological advancements, regulatory requirements, environmental concerns and rising customer expectations. To meet these demands, the Asset Management Period 8 (AMP8) from OFWAT, the Water Services Regulation Authority in England and Wales, has introduced a fresh set of regulatory requirements. With a focus on efficiency, resilience and sustainability, AMP8 will need United Utilities to enhance operational performance and mitigate supply chain risks, all whilst improving customer experience, embracing social value initiatives and having environmental considerations at the core of their operations. I\'ve been brought in to \'join the dots\' where the principal objective is to ensure that the United Utilities Asset Management and Capital Delivery Programmes have robust and sufficiently scalable, underpinning technology for the duration of the 5 year AMP 8 period. This has led me to helping shape the direction of travel, service treatment and associated business cases, driving through to overseeing implementation of the Programme projects.
