ABOUT ROBERT GILLILAND

I have worked in IT for 20 years in a variety of positions. Currently, I am a Senior Service Management consultant with Capgemini.Served as Scrum Master and lead ServiceNow engineer with Unisys for North America. Successfully deployed and maintained an On Premise implementation of ServiceNow for a large defense contractor.I advised Portland General Electric with their ServiceNow implementation of ITSM/ITAM/ITOM/ITBM modules and developing custom solutions for their business processes.Previously, I was the Senior Application Engineer/Developer at Allstream(formerly Integra/ELI) working in an ITIL environment using Agile methodologies. I supported and developed a wide range of applications, including two instances of ServiceNow, Splunk, and Salesforce, as well as a number of network and application monitoring programs operating on a wide range of platforms, both Windows and Linux based. I also work with a variety of databases, for MySQL to MS SQL and Oracle. I have been instrumental in the transition from Integra/ ELIO to the Zayo Group/Allstream during our recent change and now am the primary resource in keeping operations moving forward.Prior to working at ELI, I worked for several Fortune 500 companies, like Nike and AT & T, as well as start-ups, like N2H2 and Telephone Plus, and have received several awards for my accomplishments.
