Member Care Specialist is a key role within Florida State Account Operations that serves existing customers which include individual active and retired members, business decision makers and providers. Offer assistance to Florida State member by responding to benefit and claim related requires via telephone or in writing. Educate and answer member questions on the access and use of member self service tools. Perform research, request additional information from the provider, member and or supporting insurance plan if necessary while making a decision to return, pend pay or deny low risk claims in order to properly adjudicate claims and inquires within the contract benefit and claims and inquires within contract benefit and claims processing guidelines.
