ABOUT SHANNON GOBERVILLE
I’m a product-oriented and commercially driven professional with experience working across global travel and retail environments, leading initiatives that improve customer experience, engagement and business performance. In my current role at Expedia Group, I lead the strategy and delivery of machine learning driven personalisation capabilities across global CRM programmes. I work at the intersection of product, data and go-to-market, partnering closely with capabilities, product, data science and engineering teams to translate business and user needs into scalable solutions. I define use cases based on user needs/paint points, prioritise high impact opportunities and ensure solutions are adopted and scaled effectively across brands, markets and audiences. My experience spans product, marketing and customer experience, with a strong focus on translating insights into practical solutions that deliver measurable impact. I’ve worked across international markets and dynamic, fast-moving environments, balancing global consistency with the need to adapt to different customer behaviours and market contexts. Earlier in my career, I built a foundation in international marketing and customer experience, working across multi-channel campaigns, product propositions and cross-functional teams. This included leading large-scale commercial initiatives and contributing to initiatives that start from understanding customer needs and carry through to execution and ongoing optimisation. Alongside my professional experience, I also have hands on experience managing my short-term rental, which has strengthened my understanding of user expectations on both sides of the marketplace and end-to-end experience delivery. I’m particularly motivated by roles that sit at the intersection of user needs, data and execution, where I can contribute to shaping and delivering experiences that are both effective and meaningful at scale. I enjoy working across teams to translate insights into practical solutions, while operating in environments where balancing global strategy with local relevance is key. I bring a positive, proactive and reflective approach to my work, with a strong focus on continuous learning and improving how I operate over time.
