Aml Compliance Investigations Analyst @Coinbase

Conduct compliance reviews and analysis in support of Coinbase’s BSA/AML and other regulatory compliance policies and programs including investigating alerts, reviewing merchant activity, and conducting enhanced due diligence• Risk Based Oversight of vendors/contractors with regard to advisement/direction on decision making and SAR Filing• Host and conduct live training sessions of new and current associates and contracting firms on AML/TF blockchain related investigations through platforms such as Google Meets• Partner with Learning and Development to produce company certified blockchain investigation training videos for newly onboarded contracting associates and vendors with use of investigation tools such as Chain Analysis and Etherscan on various digital currency as Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and Litecoin• Remain current with industry standards and developments in the areas of KYC, BSA/AML, and OFAC, and apply regulatory requirements and internal policies and procedures to case investigations• Respond to ad hoc AML requests, mitigate issues, provide feedback on QC initiatives• Conduct SAR preparation and filing• Process Improvement and Change Management strategies, such as :Process Gap Control Reviews, Automation of daily use functions, Identification of process weaknesses and process improvement controls for greater accuracy/efficiency• Successful in the process automation and change of a vital company function regarding the termination of account relationships• Conduct continuous AML risk reviews/assessments, providing feedback and metrics to senior management regarding the firms various contracting firms lines of business with specific regard to process improvement and areas in need of attention• Maintenance of Policy and Procedure/ detailed documentation on AML/Compliance initiatives on newly instituted internal policies and procedures
