ABOUT SERGI CASTILLO MALPESA
Hi, this is Sergi. When I think about myself I think I\'m a technological enthusiast (I\'m always up-to-date about latest tech news), a detailed and perfectionist person (not just at work but in my life), a person who does not get satisfied with the first solution (there is always a better one), a role player person (I think relations between team mates is the hardest part of our job and I like it).My professional journey started as a J2EE developer, as an intern I settled the basis of my fundamentals, always learning from my colleagues, it was really exciting learn new things and realise that engineering is practice, experience, patience and a little bit of knowledge.Moving forward from backend to frontend was quite a change but I believe it was the right move, I\'ve enjoyed every day since then, at the beginning it was like the first days, learning a lot from other people, not only from colleagues but from the community in Spain, from activities to fragments, from async tasks to rx, from content providers to room. Without any architecture at all to clean! Wow! What a change! And now Kotlin (what a pleasure!), arch components. This is not over yet!And from some years to present, I don\'t even give up. I want to learn more but I want also to return what I got from others, I like to play katas with people (as I said practice is one of the keys of engineering), I like to play a mentor role within the team and solve problems, the feeling of helping a mate and make his life easier is very gratifying and addictive!Specialties- SOLID architecture development- Android development- Reactive developer- Continuous integration- Agile (Scrum)- Communication- Mentoring- Team management- Analysis- Self-training
