ABOUT SEJAL CHIKHALE
As a dedicated Cell Biology student, I\'m deeply passionate about merging my wet and dry lab skills to advance my understanding of genetic and translational research. My ultimate aim is to forge a career in medical sciences, where I can leverage my academic prowess to contribute meaningfully to the field. Beyond academics, I find immense joy in contributing to our community through volunteer work. My involvement with various non-profits supporting immigrant education, healthcare, and holistic wellness has been incredibly rewarding. It\'s a privilege to make a positive impact on the lives of resilient individuals facing adversities. My university work experience has provided invaluable insights into analyzing health progressions and animal research protocols, enhancing my practical knowledge in the field. I\'m particularly drawn to oncology, with a specific focus on plasma cell cancer, notably Multiple Myeloma. This interest drives my pursuit to unravel the complexities of cancer through real-life applications based on my scientific training. I aspire to contribute significantly to the medical sciences landscape, fueled by a blend of academic rigor, practical experience, and a deep-rooted commitment to community welfare.
