ABOUT SCOTT CRANE

Senior Director with Alvarez & Marsal Tax in Atlanta, with a focus on U.S. federal and international income tax accounting, planning, and compliance for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals.I have worked with many clients to achieve income tax efficiencies, helping them navigate multiple significant liquidity events and restructurings. I have been an actively participating member of professional teams serving clients as they complete business transactions and estate execution exercises for entrepreneurs and ultra-high-net-worth families.My areas of expertise include U.S. federal and international compliance and income tax accounting under ASC 740 for large public and private corporations and flow-throughs, as well as income tax planning and structuring for high-net-worth individuals. I have worked with clients across various industries, including the solar, manufacturing, credit card processing, pharmaceutical, video game development, and life sciences industries. I\'ve earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Furman University, South Carolina, and a master’s degree in tax accounting from Wake Forest University, North Carolina. I am a licensed Certified Public Accountant in the state of Georgia and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
