ABOUT SCOTT ROBERTSON
An innovative thinker with an array of experience in financial services and technology covering payments, data & insights, business transformation and accessibility. Upon completing a sponsored degree with Barclays, achieving First-Class honours, I was offered a place on the Barclays ‘Future Leader Development Programme’, a world-class graduate scheme. Grasping this opportunity I have since worked across teams to formulate, shape and deliver key outcomes for stakeholders. The diversity I have experienced over a short period in my work - from defining corporate sales strategies and shaping client discussions to embedding new IT systems and delivering proof of concepts – has develop my ability to think laterally whilst building an awareness of my personal strengths and weaknesses. My passion is in making things better. I’ve had great success in assimilating contextual complexity to ultimately drive different thoughts and actions in teams; this is where I see some of my core strengths. Technology is a key enabler; savviness in understanding the value in both new and existing technologies is crucial and has served me well. Increasingly however, the underlying operation is becoming more accessible and empowering; this is why I’m currently teaching myself to programme.
