ABOUT SCOTT LITZELMAN
I am a materials scientist who\'s trying to fight climate change through carbon removal and emissions reductions programs. I am currently Program Lead at Stripe and Frontier, where I identify promising carbon removal pathways, do deep diligence on companies, and negotiate carbon removal offtake agreements. Prior to that, I was a Program Director at ARPA-E working on long-duration energy storage, flexible CCS, and direct air capture. I was the 20••••18 MRS/TMS Congressional Science and Engineering Fellow, serving in the office of Senator Ron Wyden. I also worked for 8 years as a scientific consultant with Booz Allen Hamilton, helping program directors start and manage early-stage R&D programs.
