After helping companies launch products for over 30 years, I have decided that the next phase of my career will focus on helping people.I founded WhatGives in 2015 with the help of my good friend Larry Carr. At that time we applied for and received our 501c3 status, established our non profits name and logo and then the idea sat dormant for a while during my time in Italy and subsequently working on the Boeing project.Last year, we were able to work with Anoroc Agency in Raleigh to build our website and lay out our company constitution explaining the \"why\",\"what\", and \"how\" of WhatGives.We are currently in our Alpha rollout, trying to determine if our value proposition resonates with people but also trying to understand how to connect with those in need developing a robust criteria and vetting process that will set us apart from other non profit organizations.My focus now is on getting the word out about WhatGives both at the needs and donor level. I also will be fine tuning our \"Trust Network\" concept by utilizing innovative techniques for evaluation and subsequent funding for individuals. WhatGives has to be \"best in class\" at assuring that donor money goes where it is intended.
