ABOUT SARAH MCCOLLEY

I am an experienced and effective project manager and urban designer at Perkins & Will in the Atlanta studio. I previously worked at TSW, a planning and design firm in Atlanta, for 9 years. The projects I lead are driven by extensive public engagement and are focused on quality urban design, downtown planning, TOD, parks, trails, and equitable public policies. I work with communities to develop recommendations that reduce the equity gap caused by historic policy decisions, promote active and healthy living, and advance environmental sustainability. My skills include detail-oriented project management, facilitation, and high-quality graphics that tell a story. I recently enhanced all of these abilities by completing a UX / UI certificate in Georgia Tech\'s Professional Education program (2021). I graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Master of City and Regional Planning (2013) and from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture (2011). Portfolio: https://smmccolley.wixsite.com/portfolioI practice the urbanism I preach by living car-free, walking, and taking transit. In my free time, I am an avid CrossFitter, enjoy painting and drawing, and love to get lost in books.
