Circa 30 years with Shell in a variety of technical/leadership roles and international locations covering green/brown field, conventional/unconventional, oil/gas and digital technology development. • After completing a well site assignment, rotated through a number of progressively more senior reservoir engineering roles in the Netherlands, Peru, Bangladesh, Australia and Sakhalin. • Moved to Calgary in 2008 to lead the thermal surveillance team as a member of Shell Canada\'s Insitu Ops Leadership team • Transitioned to Groundbirch and Foothills Technical Manager, overseeing development decisions for Shells Unconventional gas assets in British Columbia and sour assets in Alberta, managing ~30 staff and key JV partnerships. • Led the Unconventionals Petroleum Engineering community as Chief Petroleum Engineer, accountable for development of ~300 staff, subsurface development technical assurance and corporate planning/reserves. Role transitioned into Technical General Manager, leading Shales Asset Management discipline and member of Shells global Subsurface Development and Asset Management extended leadership teams. • Current role as Subsurface Modelling Technology General Manager, accountable for Shells subsurface modelling portfolio and development of new digital modelling technologies.
