Sandi Gulbransen is the Chief Quality Officer at University of Utah Health. Sandi currently leads system-wide efforts focused on delivering high value clinical care to our patients and community. She and her team provide strategy and support to align value work with system priories, national quality programs and benchmarks for hospitals, clinics, and providers. In her previous roles, Sandi led the System Quality team and co-founded the Value Engineering program at University of Utah Health. Since she joined UHealth she and her teams of quality improvement, patient safety, infection prevention, accreditation and engineering professionals have improved the quality, safety and efficiency across the continuum of care. The value initiatives conducted to date have led to significant improvements in clinical quality and outcomes as well as resulting in multi-year bottom line savings to the organization.
