As a Project Manager, I operate in the estimating, project management, and field operations aspects of the construction process, working to plan, direct, and coordinate construction in every phase of the project.• In the Estimating aspect, I work in the pre-con phase using Value Engineering to coordinate with the client, architect, engineer, and subcontractors to develop a budget and schedule and work to further develop the construction plans to fit the owner’s needs. • In the Project Management aspect, I work in the construction phase to oversee the organization of the project as well as manage the schedule and budget to ensure that the project goals and objectives are met. • In the Field Operations aspect I work with the superintendents to maintain the project schedule and ensure that we produce the highest project quality while maintaining the highest safety standards. In operating in these three roles I receive an in depth view of the overall construction process from design conception to substantial completion and beyond.
