ABOUT SAMUEL FAGERHOLM

I am a 32 year old football coach with UEFA Pro License who have worked professionally in Sweden, Finland and now currently in Italy. I have coached in various professional women\'s club environments. My coaching philosophy is based on maximising the ability of the players player I work with. Creating a positive, supportive environment and empowering players to reach their full potential. I have a deep passion for leadership and football. I am very interested in the concept of Athlete leadership and how one can foster that in a team environment to create a shared leadership structure. I believe that is a strong foundation to creating teams and organisations that can perform well together. Career Highlights Åland United (20••••20) Steered the team to unprecedented success by clinching both the Finnish Cup and the Finnish Women\'s Premier Division titles in 2020. Developed and executed innovative coaching strategies, fostering a winning mentality and team cohesion. Umeå IK (20••••22) Successfully led the team to promotion to the Swedish Damallsvenskan in my first season with the club, demonstrating adaptability and tactical intelligence in a new competitive environment. Responsible for the recruitment, built a whole new team consisting in large of academy players who many are now established Damallsvenskan and international players. IK Uppsala (2023) Led the team in Damallsvenskan in their second ever season in the top flight. Highest result in the clubs history but at the same time not enough to stay in Damallsvenskan - leading a team through adversity
