The firm has over 675 professionals with an in-depth understanding of the rail industry. Approximately 80% of our professional staff have previous railroad experience, a ratio none of the big house firms can match in a rail specific project. Recently since 8-2021 we are a third party Rail Operator in the East Side Access project, Test train Operations, Dispatch and Electric Traction control. Presently, Mid-Career at RailPros; Metropolitan Railway Club - Executive Committee, American Association of Railroad Superintendents, International Association of Railway Operating Officers Retired from - Superintendent Operations, AMTRAK - New York; 46 years of Rail Operations in the Greater New York area. Maintained Locomotive Engineer status throughout most of those years. Locomotive and rail vehicle control and technology my passion. Supervised and trained Locomotive Engineers & Train Operators as well as the supervisors that provide oversight to their operation. Most recent time at AMTRAK;*Responsible for AMTRAK - NY Transportation regarding projects such as Gateway Portal Bridge, Gateway North River Tunnels, Penn Station South, East Side Access, Moynihan Station, Brookfield Development, Sunnyside Expansion Phase 1 and others.*Liaison for AMTRAK - NY Transportation for operational issues with LIRR, MNCR, SEPTA, NJTRO and CONRAIL Shared Assets.*Participant in Regional Outage Committee, with weekly review and planning for multiple work projects and related track outages to facilitate coordination of the more than 1300 train movements with portions of track, DC third rail and overhead Catenary systems out of service. this process involved AMTRAK, MTACC, LIRR and included NJ Transit trains in Penn Station NY and approach environs.*Past President of Metropolitan Railway Club of New York, now serving on Executive Committee *Successfully participated in or managed multi-agency projects over the years in co-operation with NJ Transit, Long Island Rail Road, Metro-North Commuter Rail and SEPTA.*Chairperson -Tunnel Life Safety and Equipment Compatibility Task Force; a multi agency task force for inter-operability of LIRR, NJTRO and AMTRAK equipment during rail based emergency rescue movements within the 7 tunnels comprising the Penn Station New York area.
