About Samantha Walior

I currently work at Vercel, a SaaS company based in San Francisco, CA, as the Senior Director of Finance. My team is tasked with partnering across the company to develop and iterate on financial budgets & forecasts, long range plans, and business KPIs. We are also responsible for all aspects of Investor Relations, including monthly updates and board presentations. I worked within the Xbox Gaming Marketing team at Microsoft\'s HQ in Redmond, Washington, for about 5 years with a particular focus on planning the Xbox Gaming Subscriptions business. I am responsible for the operating plan, forecasts/budgets, and long range planning for Xbox Game Pass (Ultimate, Console, and PC subscriptions) and Xbox Live Gold. Prior to my role within Gaming Marketing I worked on the Xbox finance team for 2 1/2 years, performing business modeling for growth opportunities and industry insights. I graduated from the University of Washington-Seattle, with a BA in Accounting from Foster School of Business. I worked as an auditor in Deloitte\'s Minneapolis office prior to moving to Microsoft, and currently hold an inactive CPA license in both Minnesota and Washington state.Gymnastics is my biggest passion, and I am fortunate to be able to stay involved with the sport through choreography, even though I finished my own personal competitive career at the University of Washington in 2011.
