I grew up on Virginia\'s Eastern Shore and attended college at Hampden-Sydney in Farmville, Virginia. Graduated with a double B.A. and went back home to farming. During that time I gained great experience as a crop production manager for our family farm as well as a Canadian sweet corn producer, traveling to Florida and Georgia for that company.
