I began my career in oil and gas with Baker Hughes, working in many functions including data science, software development, engineering and consulting. I then found my passion for data analysis and programming, which pushed me to learn more data science and machine learning tools and techniques. I currently work as a data scientist/quantitative researcher at Artemis Capital Management, a hedge fund based in Austin, TX, where I use my data analysis skills, machine learning knowledge and Python programming expertise to develop investment/trading strategies to meet our client needs, as well as build and maintain our customized cloud-based data infrastructure.
