ABOUT SAHAR MARTINEZ

I’m a licensed therapist, professor, founder, and mental health advocate working at the intersection of healing and systems change. My clinical work centers relational trauma, perinatal and generational mental health, and the complex realities of identity. I’m particularly passionate about supporting clients—and clinicians—in reclaiming spaciousness, clarity, and connection. As the founder of The Process Wellness Collective and The Process Wellness Foundation, I hold a deep commitment to making high-quality, culturally responsive care more accessible. I believe therapy should be both politically conscious and personally transformative—and that healing spaces must be sustainable for those who hold them.In my role as an educator and AAMFT Clinical Supervisor, I teach and mentor the next generation of therapists with a focus on Internal Family Systems, somatic attachment and inclusive, justice-aligned practice. My work integrates clinical depth with advocacy, always asking: How can we practice in a way that heals the individual while disrupting the system that harmed them?If you’re interested in connecting around accessible mental health care, clinical training, nonprofit partnerships, or building values-aligned organizations—I’d love to be in conversation.
