My role primarily involved managing and supporting VMware vSphere environments, including ESXi hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines. I regularly performed tasks such as VM provisioning, host patching, resource optimization, and troubleshooting compute-related issues.I have hands-on experience working with HPE, Dell, and Lenovo blade servers — including physical installation, firmware updates, health checks, and coordinating with vendors for hardware support. I also used ServiceNow for incident and change management and JIRA for task tracking and project coordination.Automation was a key part of my role, where I used PowerShell scripts and vRealize Automation (vRA) to streamline provisioning and day-to-day operations. I also worked with AWX (Ansible Tower) for managing Linux environments and repetitive tasks across the compute infrastructure.For system access and troubleshooting, I regularly used PuTTY to connect to ESXi hosts and Linux servers.
