Sachin has over 18 years’ experience investing in disruptive technology from a global perspective. Prior to joining Dandelion, he managed his family office, Niyama Capital Management, where he focused his investing in disruptive fundamental change narratives. Until 2020, Sachin was a Partner and Portfolio Manager at Myriad Asset Management covering the TMT sectors. At Myriad, he managed a public market long-short portfolio and led the firm’s participation in several private investments including a significant position in Alibaba in 2012. Prior to joining Myriad in 2011, Sachin was a Senior Research Analyst at Hong Kong-based Turiya Capital Management, conducting fundamental equity analysis in the TMT sector. From 2005 to 2009, Sachin was a Senior Research Analyst focused on the Global TMT Portfolio at Highbridge Capital Management, working as part of the Highbridge Global Long/Short Equity Fund. Prior to Highbridge, he was a Research Analyst at Five Points Capital, a Technology Long/Short fund, and an Equity Analyst at Robertson Stephens covering the Telecom Equipment sector. Sachin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
