I work for the global analytics team, which is about 20 engineersThe role is a front office role where we have no BAs or PMs, we liase with the business directly, where we allow brokers to carry out the following tasks - see realtime pricing updates (done with custom C++ pub/sub) offering- trade Fx/bonds/options We use all of the following across the team- C++- C#- Microservices - Git- TFS pipelines- ElasticSearch - AWS Dynamodb - AWS Kinesis- AWS S3- AWS Athena - AWS EKS- AWS MSK - Redis- React/Redux - Powershell I mainly work in the.net space where I am tasked with managing the full product lifecycle, managing the team and managing the priorities of the deliveryI am a hands on manager, but also play a key role in the strategic direction of the product

I am a passionate software developer who has a range of experience, from front office banking systems to real time control software.I am interested in a wide range of technologies, including desktop solutions through to rich browser clients (using mvvm / mvc javascript libraries such as react/redux) and server side components.What I really enjoy working with is low latency streaming solutions/Microservices and complex threading issues are always funI would consider myself to be an excellent team player, and am generally quite driven to learn as much as I can about best practices in software development.I am also lucky enough to have been awarded the Microsoft \"Most Valuable Professional\" award in Visual C# 9 times.
