ABOUT SAANVI M.
I am a passionate student leader, researcher, and performer committed to community service, education, and healthcare. As Co-President of TAGCA Youth Board, I represent 1,300+ members and mentor 100+ youth volunteers across North and South Carolina, leading initiatives in cultural preservation, volunteer engagement, and public advocacy. At Novant Health, I have trained high school volunteers and gained hands-on clinical experience, teaching fundamental medical skills while supporting patient care across multiple hospital departments.Academically, I am a committed researcher, placing in the top 6% of USNCO local exam takers in the U.S, and exploring the relationship between environmental factors and human health through summer research programs. At school, I co-lead the Wishing Crane Club, blending art and healing through origami workshops, and serve as Vice President of Biology Olympiad, teaching advanced biology concepts to peers. Additionally, I contribute to Beta Club art competitions, fostering creativity and leadership among students.Through my leadership with TAGCA, clinical experience at Novant Health, research endeavors, and academic involvement, I strive to inspire others, foster meaningful community impact, and integrate service, science, and creativity into every aspect of my work.
