ABOUT RYAN WALSH

Growing up with a dad who was a Combat Search and Rescue Pilot in the Air Force, I couldn’t help but see his excitement, thrill, and passion for flying. After my discovery flight in a Cessna 172, I began to share in my dad’s passion for flying. At 17, I decided it was time to pursue my dream. I dual enrolled while finishing high school and began pursuing my Private Pilot’s license at the Florida Institute of Technology. As I finish my Aviation Management Degree with flight, I am happy to say that my brother is just beginning his path in aviation and following in my footsteps. Having family that share the same passion for flying has opened the opportunity to explore the skies of the United States with them when time and money permits. Our cross-country flying trips have allowed me to continue building on my strengths of problem-solving, situational awareness, flight safety, and crew resource management, just to name a few. I’m excited to continue working toward becoming a CFI and helping others achieve their aviation goals. My personal career goals are to become the best CFI I can and then proceed to a career in the airlines.
