Responsibilities: Constantly lead and support the Ci/CD process of application, software, patches, and hotFixes. Monitor and ensure high availability and healthy state of Kubernetes and Rancher on cluster and application level. Provide expert solutions on the components of Kubernetes objects and their dependencies with the main \'application\' and \'pod\' object. Accomplishments:• Lead teams into creating CI/CD solutions in daily operations and also enhancements of current solutions. Worked with PM and clients (Developers) to understand the business requirement better• Implemented a automated scheduled trigger of Ansible jobs and deployments, abandoning the old methology used by the team• Migrated Kubernetes Cluster from old instance to new and made sure all applications were compatible with the new changes as well• Performed Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment with testing of new application versions using bamboo, octopus, Jenkins, Arifactory, docker, helm charts, chart museum. The prod-ready applications would automatically to environment-based Kubernetes/Rancher cluster, on-premises VMs, and UI target links. • Was a major/key part of a divestment process with the team. Helped implement efficient solutions while also clearing any roadblocks that came along the way• Started migration work of on-premises infrastructure into Google Cloud Platform (GCP) • Wrote new Ansible playbooks and setup templates in Ansible Tower to enable further automation and greater deployment rate for the team• Updated Ansible playbooks infrastructure repo to better suit new solutions and new mythologies of the team• Decreased deployment life cycle of a major organizational application product by 50% by automating much of the manual deployment work and implementing python in short scripts as well• Created secrets, configMaps, and volumes as solutions for applications whenever needed from crash and failing pods, inactive state, and many more failure instances.
