ABOUT ROXANN MARTINEZ FISHER
Ms. Roxann Martinez-Fisher is a Texas based, multilingual, multi Emmy award winning published Journalist/Marketing expert. Currently Roxann is lending her Television News Room upper level management experience to TCS overseeing all of @youtube sporting content. Before joint TCS & YouTube -Google. Roxann successfully over saw News development for Victoria Television Groups eight stations including news content for ABC, FOX, Univision, and Telemundo. Managed a 1.5 million dollar news room budget. During her time at VTG Roxann oversaw and launched new News Programs for Univision and Telemundo news stations. During her tenure the news station saw its highest ratings on air and on social media in the stations 20 year history, an accomplishment Ms.Fisher is very proud of! Ms. Fisher also Implemented the News Departments 2020 strategic plan to increase viewership, ratings and over all growth of the Television stations. Ms. Martinez-Fisher has spent the past 35 years managing newsrooms across the state of Texas as well as field producing Network television specials. Ms. Martinez-Fisher has produced television specials for NBC KPRC featuring multi Grammy award-winning group Destiny\'s Child, Bravo\'s Houston Super Bowl edition of Celebrity Poker with Phil Gordon and NBA Hall of Famer, NBA Champion and United States Gold Medalist Clyde ‘ The Glide ‘ Drexler and The Houston Astros 2002 World Series for Univision Television Network. Ms. Martinez-Fisher’s works have been published by the Associated Press, USA Today online, CNN online, KENS5.Com,Latin Connection Magazine and NewsBreak.com. Ms. Martinez-Fisher is a native Houstonian who attended University locally at Texas Southern University, majoring in Journalism and Public Relations. Roxann went on to earn a coveted Media Fellowship from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Roxann strove to expanded her talents to the marketing industry by gaining the title as national and regional marketing tour manager representing top companies such as Coca Cola, The Mexican National Soccer Team, Starbucks and Pepsi Co. In 2015 after taking a break from TVNews Roxann and her daughter, Stephanie Smith-Collins founded their Public Relations Firm, Southern Media PR.
