Dr. Rosa M. García is a highly experienced public servant and higher education professional, boasting an impressive career spanning over 25 years. Throughout her professional career, she has dedicated herself to advancing higher education, public policy, social justice, and democracy. Currently serving as the Executive Director of the Community Learning Partnership and California Youth Leadership Corps, Dr. García spearheads a vibrant national network that focuses on preparing the next generation of community leaders and change agents. Under her leadership, this network has grown and become a dynamic force, empowering individuals with the tools and knowledge necessary to drive meaningful change within their communities. Dr. García has an outstanding track record of securing public and private funding, directly contributing to the implementation of transformative initiatives that foster college access, affordability, equity, diversity, inclusion, student success, and democracy across various institutions and systems. Drawing on her experiences as a nonprofit leader, a deputy chief of staff to a member of Congress, a policy director, an advocate, an educator, a gubernatorial appointee, and a assistant dean of admissions, Dr. García remains grounded and deeply committed to her role as a champion for underserved students, individuals, and communities. This commitment is evident through her extensive service in government roles and nonprofit boards, where she tirelessly advocates for the rights and well-being of students, workers, and communities who have experienced poverty, discrimination, and other challenges in their lives. Dr. García holds an Ed.D from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education; master\'s degrees from Columbia University Teachers College, Baruch College, CUNY, and UCLA; and a bachelor\'s from Wesleyan University.
