We at New Hope Housing are confronting Houston’s housing crisis through two types of apartment communities: properties that serve families who need an affordable home with supportive services to bolster their success; and, single room occupancy (SRO) properties that offer concentrated services to stabilize homeless and near homeless adults living alone on a fixed income. For more than a quarter century, New Hope Housing’s dedicated and inspired staff and board have collaborated with neighborhood and city-wide leaders to build award-winning apartment communities. These well-designed and meticulously-managed developments are an asset to our residents, to the surrounding neighborhood, and to the City of Houston itself. New Hope Housing is recognized for having developed an intervention and prevention model that uplifts families and individuals from crisis to long-term stability. With eight properties going strong, and two under development, together with you we are more effective and efficient than ever.
