ABOUT ROMAN GALEY

Heritage has taught me one guiding principle. No matter what endeavor an individual chooses to involve himself in, he should set his mind to adding value. Offer value to clients. Add value to companies. Give back something of value to a community. I am the third generation in a family-owned risk management and insurance agency, The Galey Agency, Inc, now a part of SouthGroup Insurance Services. In an ever-changing industry, we have evolved into a group of professionals that provide total risk solutions for all aspects of an organization. Acting as a Risk Advisor, I consult with clients to identify risks and develop a plan to mitigate those risks. I help people and companies see the obstacles ahead and navigate the uncertainty related to those risks. My industry designations include Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) and Professional Work Comp Advisor (PWCA). In my community, I seek to add value through several civic and political causes.In many cases, later generations of family-owned businesses go into cruise control when it comes to company vision and client care. If anything, my grandfather and father taught me to constantly evaluate growth areas for our industry and engage in strategies to build a better company and a better city. Our story has benefited clients for 94 years, and I look forward to writing the next chapter of our unique services.
