ABOUT RODNEY VAN DER KNAAP
Service and Interaction Designer from the Netherlands. Started to study Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology in 2011. During my bachelor and minor at the Design School of Loughborough University in the UK, I developed an interest for Human Centered Design. How the user interacts with other persons and products intrigues me. I believe that the best way to design is by starting to find out the needs of the users. To research what the user really wants and needs, I love to use techniques like role playing, context mapping, observing and interviewing. Out of the insights that are gathered from the user research, a customer journey could be made, which helps me to come up with the final concepts.
