Some people find problems, other people find solutions\"- This was told to me a number of years ago and I (strive to) use it as my guiding principle in the work that I do. Thankfully, working in the Payments & Payroll Technologies industry for Heartland Payment Systems gives me the continued opportunity to put these words into action. Payment acceptance (accepting money from your customers) and Payroll (paying your employees) are two of the most fundamental aspects of running a business. They can also be two of the most complicated systems to implement effectively. I work in a landscape of ever-changing technology, products, and legal guidelines - I take the most satisfaction from being able to assist merchants in understanding and overcoming these complications. See, I like puzzles and this job gives me plenty of puzzles to solve. Of course it helps that I work for a company like Heartland Payment Systems - a company that provides industry-leading solutions in so many different categories all the while maintaining a strict policy of Honesty, Integrity, and Transparency-Point of Sale -Payments -Payroll -Loyalty/Gift -Analytics -E-Commerce -Working Capital Lending If it involves a $ sign in a business we probably have a solution for it.
