About Robert Falk

Rob developed his love of the financial markets at the age of 5 when his father showed him how to follow the price of the one mutual fund that had been bought for him when he was born and this love has never waned. He traded for his own account throughout high school and college and after he graduated in 1983 from the University of Delaware, he was fortunate to land a position with a commodity futures clearing firm on the floor of the COMEX. He quickly earned the respect of his superiors and peers and moved up the ranks to eventually become Vice President in charge of both a 50 person exchange floor operation as well as the manager of a 350 person client base sourced from the traders on the floor of the exchange. His overall dedication to the success of both his subordinates as well as his clientele made him the go to guy whenever an issue arose. It is this commitment that has allowed him to build and maintain relationships throughout his career in the financial industry. Rob went to Merrill Lynch to bring the aforementioned dedication to a new group of people, specifically those that need a broader understanding of the financial markets and how outside forces can affect the wealth that they have accumulated. He is devoted to learning about people\'s needs and imparting knowledge about the variety of products available. It is his aim to make sure that his clients are fully informed and that they understand that his main goal is to determine how his clients can reach their goals. Most importantly, he believes that it is essential that a proper plan is put into place so that no one outlives their wealth.
