ABOUT ROB SNAITH

As an experienced circular economy consultancy leader with a passion for designing and delivering impactful research projects, I excel in aligning tasks with desired outcomes and assembling and leading teams that drive success. I have over 15 years’ experience in policy and strategy development, and implementation of circularity initiatives for clients of all sizes, from intra-national government agencies to small business and community organisations. My leadership style is rooted in empathy and effective communication, fostering environments where professionals thrive.Over the past decade, I have led the design and delivery of high-impact circular economy projects across the UK and Europe, supporting governments, businesses, and NGOs to advance circularity through strategy, policy, and implementation. My work includes leading multi-partner EU research into circularity metrics, working with Defra’s science team to understand how circularity improvements can be monitored through or alongside the official net-zero emission reporting process, designing CE advisory services for over 50 London SMEs (safeguarding 215 jobs as they emerged from COVID), shaping UK battery policy, and co-authoring construction waste guidance. I have also led CE strategy development for large-scale infrastructure projects, including a community in Australia. Across this work, I combine strategic thinking,compassionate leadership, and effective communication —from workshops and technical reports to stakeholder-facing policy briefings. I am seeking opportunities to lead transformative initiatives in the circular economy space, leveraging my expertise to drive sustainable innovation.
