ABOUT RIFAT BIN S.
I am an outgoing individual whos main goal is to apply the vast field of data science to solve real-world problems. I am a computer science (Advanced) student at The University of Adelaide and is a recipient of Dean’s Award for Academic Excellence. I use my knowledge in data science to contribute to many real-life inquiries including a project to “explore the effect of color in the outcome of a game of chess” which was well received for its intriguing findings. My ultimate goal is to combine his knowledge of Data Science and desire to help people by finding solutions to real-life problems in the field of healthcare. In addition to study, my life goal is to give back to the community to make difference in people’s life. By being a St. John Cadet, I was able to demonstrate working in time pressure, critical thinking and ability of conflict resolution. Furthermore, he took part in many university activities such as Global IQ, “talking with Aussies” and Pass leader which gave him both the satisfaction of helping people and work place experience.
