Genomics is as vast as biology itself. Advances in DNA sequencing, DNA synthesis, proteomics and metabolomics are barely scratching the surface. With countless applications and innumerable problems to solve, this exciting industry is ripe for limitless growth.A scientist by training, I blend grit, energy and intense curiosity in my quest to find simple answers through data. With a focus on the practical side of business, I’m constantly asking: How can we make this helpful to people and the world?My penchant for building things – this growth mindset of creating something that can advance to the next stage – is also what drives my passion for building systems and sales teams that propel businesses to their highest level. Goal-oriented but also highly approachable, I’m an Advisor to whom our sales team turns for guidance and feedback. Sales people aren’t necessarily technicians, and yet they must understand what they’re selling. I distill complicated subjects and technologies to terms that are easy to grasp.I lead with integrity, empathy, patience and a hands-off policy that gives team members the flexibility to tackle challenges as they see fit. Always, my professional goal is to replace myself with the right people so that I can move on to the next complicated thing.
