Counsels current and potential U.S. exporters to meet client export market development objectives and performs U.S. export facilitation, foreign direct investment promotion, and trade promotion through client and stakeholder engagement. Analyses export trade information, conducts market research, disseminates trade information; develops strategies for U.S. business facilitation, and trade investment promotion initiatives.Developed a strategic plan that transformed the Little Rock Export Assistance Center into a top performing operation with a reputation for accountability, responsive customer service and proactive engagement with new client multipliers including: municipal, state and federal economic development agencies, and export ecosystem partners, the SBA, EXIM Export Import Bank of America, congressional representatives, World Trade Center, Arkansas Economic Development Commission, Small Business Technology and Development Centers, and state/local chambers of commerce, U.S. embassies and consulates. Secured 115 new clients and counseled 446 exporting SMEs in 36 months, helping them successfully enter ideally matched global markets with minimal risk by matching client needs with customized solutions including foreign trade missions, business matchmaking, export compliance, e-commerce and trade data research tools in a multitude of industries thereby creating and retaining U.S. jobs. Provided strategic leadership as the Executive Secretary of the Arkansas District Export Council, recruited new members and President’s E Award and Governor’s Award recipients, oversaw program compliance, secured guest speakers and panelists for export outreach training events, and provided newsletter and social media content.Actively served on Global Teams for key state exports in the aerospace, safety and security, advanced manufacturing, agribusiness, travel & tourism and Envirotech industries, gaining knowledge that supported clients increased exports in these sectors.
