Hi, I\'m Richard, VP of Data & AI at Valtech, an experience innovation company dedicated to enabling brands to stand out and surge ahead through data-driven strategies. With over 12 years in data, analytics, AI/ML, and marketing, I\'ve been recognized by Business Insider as one of the 50 Rising Stars of Madison Avenue for pioneering innovative data-driven advertising solutions.As Head of Data & AI in the Americas at Valtech, I lead a team of data analysts, data scientists, and engineers, managing strategy and operations across Advanced Analytics & Implementation/Integrations, Reporting Insights & BI, Data Science & Engineering, Gen AI, and Data Foundations. Our focus is on driving growth and profitability for enterprise clients through advanced data analytics, predictive modeling, automation, and the strategic use of Generative AI & Agentic Solutions.My role involves hands-on collaboration with clients, generating insights, forecasts, and actionable intelligence utilizing platforms such as GCP, Azure, Databricks, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Looker, Power BI, Python, R, and SQL. My expertise spans building and scaling enterprise data platforms, deploying LLMs for conversational analytics, and developing predictive models for customer segmentation, churn reduction, and marketing optimization. Additionally, my background in performance marketing provides a unique lens in maximizing ROI across digital channels.When not immersed in data and AI, you\'ll find me exploring nature with my wife and our two Goldendoodles. After reaching all 50 states, my latest goal is to visit all 63 US National Parks (44 down, 19 to go!).
