At 18, I left my small Danish village and moved to London.I had a sales trainee job in the film industry and little else, but I wanted to see what I was made of.Moving alone to a foreign country taught me to stand on my own feet, take responsibility, and approach people with curiosity. Traits I’ve carried with me ever since.I ended up studying cand. oecon. at Aarhus University. Not a natural fit for someone who’s more pragmatic than academic. As the odd one out, I had to work twice as my theory-minded classmates, but it gave me a rare mix: 🧠 brain structure + a deep instinct for how businesses actually run.Since then, I’ve built a career in IT, business and leadership. What matters to me is that systems, teams and processes actually help the business, not slow it down.Results I’m proud of: I turned my thesis into a real PLM project at Arla Foods, which I helped implement across 60 sites in 120 countries. I’ve built teams from scratch and made IT a solid partner to the business at Green Hydrogen Systems I’ve designed governance models, roadmaps and ways of working that cut through noise and get things doneNEXT UPOn October 1st, I joined Advansor (a green growth company) as the Director of IT & Digitalization. My job is to build a strategic IT department from the ground up, shape an IT strategy that supports the business goals, and build a team that can deliver on it.
