ABOUT RENÉ POMASSL

I am an experienced IT and finance professional. From young age I always carried more responsibilities in my position than what the job description was. I started programming software at age 6, then naturally turned to computers and what you could do with them. In my first positions after school I gained experience in management strategy, setting up IT systems and eventually started up my own company. I set up IT hardware and systems for my customers soon also got offers to service financial institutions too. So I transitioned to writing financial algorithms for various banks and bank trading systems, which provided me with a unique inside perspective in what was required to make systems user-friendly. After that I operated together with m partners our own stock market trading club, educating those interested about investments and offered in-house algorithms for trading on brokerage systems. In the end the club grew to over members and still runs today. The logical next step was to take a good look at cryptocurrencies and how they could become usable to the wider masses. From there I developed the idea of Salamantex, which is a payment platform enabling any merchant to accept cryptocurrencies and other digital assets for their goods and services. Established in 2017 Salamantex has grown and boasts partnerships with some of the biggest companies in the payment space.
