Responsible for the multi-million-dollar project of operations and DBA team supporting IT Infrastructure (On-Prem & Cloud-AWS/Azure) of a large telecommunication giant supporting multiple applications. • Lead the migration of 120M active telecom subscribers from on-Prem(Oracle) to AWS could(Couchbase7.x, Postgres-EDB v13.6, Postgres-RDS 15.10, Cassandra 3.11, ScyllaDB 1.7, CludEra CDH-7.1.9 /Hbase 2.4) and stabilize the platform. • Work closely with client project sponsors and external partners to ensure project plans are integrated and key dependencies are identified, as well as managing clients and partners to ensure those key dates are met. • Work with multiple team leads to plan and manage the project deliverable schedules and set completion goals • Responsible for successful migration of 2 different systems (Telecom Companies) to newly formed Telecommunication Company supporting the flawless database buildout/ migration with close to zero downtime and smooth transition. • Managing, mentoring and leading a Team of DBAs across geographical locations to achieve Quality Client deliverables and ensuring Customer Satisfaction with limited budget.• Responsible for P&L Management• Partnered with client management teams to support proof of concept, delivery, production readiness, production improvement initiatives, driving efficiencies, and ensuring SLA compliance and LL implementation. • Manage HW-SW build/migration project a leading Telecom company.• Designing solutions for redundancy and on-premise high-availability through several high volume Data Copy technologies like ADG(Active Data Guard), Active Cloning, Golden Gate, Data Pump, transportable table-spaces, cold-backup, etc. • Designing solutions for redundancy and CLOUD high-availability for Couchbase using XDCR, Postgres-EDB using STBY EFM, Postgres-RDS like read-replica, Hbase, Cassandra using NW topology, etc
