I am a seasoned Export and International Trade Compliance professional with extensive managerial and technical experience across EU, US, UK, and China regulatory frameworks. My core expertise includes export control classification, regulatory risk assessment, sanctions analysis, and global trade compliance strategy. I possess deep knowledge of EU Dual-Use regulations, U.S. EAR (including de minimis, deemed export and Foreign Direct Product rules), ITAR (USML classification), and UK strategic goods controls. I also have strong command over global sanctions regimes and conduct due diligence to support compliant international transactions involving goods, software, and technology. I lead high-impact initiatives such as classification of dual-use and military items, licensing procedures (SNAP-R, ITAR, EU), and HS/HTS classification across 16+ countries. Additionally, I support duty optimization projects through FTA utilization and duty suspension, while developing robust internal controls, customs procedures, and compliance programs. As an active trainer and consultant, I deliver export control and HS classification training, prepare technical risk assessments aligned with evolving regulations, and support implementation of Internal Compliance Programs (ICP), Technology Control Plans (TCP), and regulatory monitoring frameworks. I serve as Product Owner for Renault Group’s Export Control Digital Tool, leading the digitalization of compliance processes. Additionally, I have leveraged OpenAI to design, debug, and implement Python and VBA automation workflows that enhance operational efficiency. With a unique blend of legal insight, technical analysis, and operational depth, I help organizations navigate complex trade compliance challenges while driving efficiency, agility, and resilience in global operations.
