About Prerna Vinod

Prerna graduated with a Bachelor\'s degree in Civil Engineering from UVCE,one of the most prestigious universities in the South India with a distinction.Being an inquisitive mind who always focussed on solving problems, she naturally gravitated to becoming a Catastrophe Modeling Analyst at AIG\'s Centre of Excellence in India.She spent her time authoring process documents and interpreting loss reports to better manage the risks associated with billion dollar infrastructures all over world.Applying some of the core aspects of her Engineering degree, she identified potential fail zones in case of natural calamities and provided Underwriters recommendations on risk selection.During the course of her tenure,she picked up skills vital to data augmentation,data visualization, analytics and interpretation.She has also mentored several of her juniors and groomed them to become independent contributors.She has demonstrated her leadership by being a founding member of the organization\'s Cultural Committee and has collaborated with others,across several diverse teams, in organizing office events.She is an ardent foodie and enjoys reading fiction.
