This resulted in a 50% reduction in run time and a 20% improvement in accuracy.• Utilised SQL to efficiently extract and manipulate data from core data repositories, optimising query performance to accelerate data retrieval and enable precise analysis of large datasets.•Engineered robust Python code for the company’s new digital platform facilitating a substantial improvement in data quality. Additionally, optimised data processing workflows and contributed to predictive modelling projects.• Utilised Power Query in Power BI to clean and transform customer and vehicle data, and applied DAX code to create a dynamic dashboard for the New and Sold Business. This dashboard provided insights by comparing residual values and pricing packages against used car sales market data, supporting effective KPI setting, profit maximisation, and remaining competitive in the market.• Collaborated with cross-functional departments to transform large and complex data sets into visually engaging Power BI reports. Streamlined and automated various reports, empowering clients to make informed business decisions.• Produced and presented quarterly reports to diverse finance stakeholders, translating complex technical data from the Corporate Datawarehouse into SQL with clear and accessible information. Identified risks associated with vehicle assets and key trends, supporting annual planning and financial forecasting for non-technical audiences.
