I am a qualified and licensed nurse (Diploma in Nursing - P.C.L. Nurse from Nepal) with over 5 years of practical experience in ICU, community health, and school healthcare environments. Throughout my career, I’ve worked alongside doctors, nurses, and other professionals to deliver high-quality care, handle complex patient needs, promote health education, and ensure safety and dignity for patients of all backgrounds.My nursing journey includes working in the ICU at Lifeguard Hospital, where I cared for critically ill patients and managed emergency situations, and serving as a school health nurse at Shree Bal Mandir Secondary School, where I led health programs that improved student wellness by over 40%. These roles helped me build strong skills in infection control, patient support, clinical documentation, emergency response, and aged and disability care. I also led hygiene programs that increased healthy habits like handwashing by 70%, based on follow-up surveys and teacher feedback.Currently based in Hamilton, New Zealand, I hold a valid student visa and am preparing to begin my Bachelor of Nursing at Wintec in February 2026. I am eligible to work full-time during my vacation period and am now seeking roles as a healthcare assistant, caregiver, or support worker.
