ABOUT PAWEŁ CIEŚLAK
If I had to choose one title for what I am it would be People Enabler - but I go by many others, like Facilitator, Scrum Master, Project Manager, Trainer, Coach, etc. The bottom line stays the same though: finding ways for people to do the things they want to do more efficiently, with more satisfaction and possibly while having fun.Sometimes it takes designing a new method of work to suit the people\'s needs - like when I was tasked with organizing a 250-people conference but had only co-workers that could dedicate 0-5 hours per week for that project. Turns out if you apply Scrumban to event management and let people decide what do they want to work you can have happy customers (participants), happy sponsor (paying client) and happy team at the same time!Sometimes it takes patient nudging and dedication - like when I went from just doing the first ever webinar in my company because no-one else wanted to, to securing a steady flow of two monthly talks delivered by both L&D personnel and Agile Team from IT department. Sometimes it takes giving balanced, non-nonsense feedback - like I do when I coach software developers and data scientists on their public speaking speaking so they feel confident while giving presentations on industry meetups.Sometimes it takes getting in between conflicted parties before things get too drastic - like when I was mediating a rocky relationship between two startup founders, so the brilliant idea could actually become a working company. And sometimes it “just” takes creating a safe space - like when I start an Action Learning process with a group of managers who think of themselves as competitors and few months later end it with a team that supports its\' members both operationally and emotionally.I have been doing all of this and more for over 15 years, using my psychology background and an array of tools. My favorite stack includes:Kanban | Scrum | Lean StartupManagement 3.0 | Action Learning | Liberating StructuresNAOMMIE | Groan Zone Model | Spheres of Influence | SBI | NVC
