ABOUT PIETRA COTTER
My name is Pietra Cotter, and I am a passionate student majoring in Finance and International Business. I am currently a junior at Florida International University - College of Business. Since August 2023, I have been serving as the Finance Director for the Brazilian Student Association (BRASA FIU), where I oversee the financial administration of the organization, implement a financial control system in Excel, and advise the board on financial strategies. Additionally, since Feburary 2024, I have taken on the role of Franchisee Operation Director for BRASA, where I lead efforts to expand our network and manage the recruitment of ambassadors. Last summer, I had the opportunity to intern as a Finance Intern at Jones, gaining practical experience in various financial areas, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and financial planning. My goal is to deepen my knowledge of finance and International Business, particularly in understanding the investment world and market trends. I aim to equip myself to contribute innovative and impactful solutions in the market and society.
